Another arrest over ACA hidden camera

ANOTHER man has been charged over a hidden camera report on a television current affairs program in which a journalist posed as an alleged hitman's accomplice.

Nine and ACA journalist Ben Fordham and producer Andrew Byrne are already facing charges over the report.

In the story, Fordham posed as an accomplice to an alleged hitman who was approached by a Sydney man to kill another man.

The report, which relied heavily on the use of hidden cameras and microphones, said the man wanted to kill the target because he was blackmailing a friend.

We all cringe when we see 'trial by media' on current affairs programs. At last, something is being done about it.
